Start with the requirements
A marking rubric describes what an assessor is looking for, but translating it into a writing plan can take care. Broad criteria such as critical analysis or use of evidence need to become concrete decisions about structure, examples and explanation. Student Manager’s assignment-intelligence direction begins with the brief and rubric, rather than treating every document as the same task.
Connect criteria with the draft
The planned Glex AI workflow uses uploaded or pasted instructions alongside the student’s writing. A review can help draw attention to potential gaps: a question not yet answered, a criterion with limited coverage or a paragraph that needs stronger support. The purpose is to give students a practical starting point for revision, not to reduce an assignment to a single number.
One review, several useful views
On-demand analysis is designed to bring rubric feedback, an assignment overview, writing improvements and grammar guidance together. Students can consider the feedback in context and choose which changes to make. References and evidence still need to be checked against original sources, and an AI suggestion may be incomplete or mistaken.
Guidance is not a grade
Coverage indicators are intended to support reflection. They are not official marks, a prediction of an assessor’s decision or proof that every requirement has been met. The student’s judgement and the institution’s instructions remain central. You can explore Student Manager while development continues towards the planned completion date of 26 August 2027.
